Good to know.

What do you read?

Your public games on Chess.com, and nothing else. There is no sign-in and we never ask for a password. We keep your username and year only if you order, and the privacy page says for how long.

Can I make one for someone else?

Yes, two ways. Give a gift: you pay, they get a card by email, and they type their own username and choose the design and frame. Or make it yourself: you only need their username, because Chess.com games are public, and you say where to send it when you pay.

Do bullet and blitz count?

Yes. Bullet, blitz, rapid and daily games all count. The Year draws the rating line for the time class you played most. Variants such as Chess960 are left out.

What if I haven't played much?

It still makes a poster. The Board and The Game work from a single game, and The Year leaves a quiet gap for a quiet month. With fewer than 10 games we'll suggest another year.

Does it work with Lichess?

Not yet. ChessStory works with Chess.com only for now.

How is it printed and delivered?

Printed to order by Prodigi, at 30 by 45, 40 by 60 or 50 by 75 cm, in a natural, black or white frame, or rolled with no frame. The delivery cost is shown before you pay.

Can I make one for my child?

Yes. A first year of rated games, or a first 1000, makes a good one. You only need their username.
